Eliot is the Director of Optical SETI at the SETI Institute. He is also founder of a search-and-rescue tech business. Previously he was Director of Engineering at Microsoft for Hotmail and Outlook.com.

Eliot is an engineer, aspiring astronaut, and helicopter pilot. He enjoys frequent travel to Seattle and to anywhere he’s never been.
