The Asteroid Institute has officially launched the Asteroid Discovery Analysis and Mapping (ADAM) Online Platform to the general public, opening up a powerful suite of astrodynamics tools to researchers, mission planners, and others. For the first time, users can access services such as Precovery, Impact Probability, and Trajectory Optimizer in a user portal where they will have access to their full history. Organizations can create shared workspaces, supporting collaboration across teams. The ADAM API is also now available to the general public, making it possible for researchers and others to include ADAM services in their software pipelines.

The ADAM web interface gives easy access to the latest services:

Precovery Service – Explore decades of unlinked observations by searching historical sky survey data. Extend observational arcs and improve orbital determination for asteroids and comets.

Impact Probability Service – Assess Earth impact risks for potentially hazardous asteroids using advanced Monte Carlo simulations. Get collision probabilities, risk corridors, and comprehensive planetary defense insights.

Trajectory Optimizer – Design optimal spacecraft trajectories for interplanetary missions, asteroid rendezvous, and deep space exploration. Get Lambert solutions, porkchop plots, and comprehensive mission analysis.

Beyond the ability to run singular jobs, ADAM supports programmatic API access, allowing for automated queries and large-scale analysis. This enables seamless integration with telescope pipelines, survey archives, or custom research projects.

Asteroid Institute brings together scientists, researchers, and engineers to develop tools and technologies to understand, map, and navigate our solar system. A program of B612 Foundation, the Asteroid Institute leverages advances in computer science, instrumentation, and astronomy to find and track asteroids.
