Ben Wheeler is an optical engineer and technology investor with a lifelong passion for space. He designed fiber optic test equipment for Hewlett Packard, airborne reconnaissance cameras for L-3 Communications, and large telescope system for the Air Force Research Labs. Ben also worked as a technologist for In-Q-Tel, and currently consults on business and product development. He earned a BA in Physics from Dartmouth College, an MS in Optical Science from the University of Rochester, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a devoted amateur photographer and enjoys skiing, surfing, and cycling.
