Founder of Jump.com (acquired by Microsoft) and Positronic (acquired by eBay), he is currently VP for Global Product Management for eBay Marketplaces—the world’s largest online marketplace, serving more than 120 million active users and $68B in gross merchandise volume globally. At Microsoft, he led the Live Search product team, and was GM for the Windows Live Portal & Client team, where he delivered products including Microsoft’s web search experience, Windows Desktop Search and Live.com. Dane is a Trustee of the SETI Institute.
