Laurie is a community and social advocate on issues including underrepresentation in STEM fields, and in healthcare injustice. She is the former founder of I’m With Them, a nonprofit organization that assists victims and survivors of sexual misconduct. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Harvey Mudd College and on the Undergraduate Cabinet of Stanford University.

Laurie holds a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
